Review for It's a Crime by C.E. Hansen

It's a Crime
C.E. Hansen

5 Stars!!!

Wealthy New York socialite Grace Preston uses men for amusement, holding her heart inside an ice fortress for protection. Spurned by a sociopathic male model, Grace picks up a new man with all the right moves; smooth as bourbon, Cole slides under her wall and touches her in places she thought were well-guarded. But after a weekend of fiery passion, he leaves, devastating her.

Cole Grayson has spent ten years building his commercial real estate firm and chasing the arsonist who killed his family when he was a boy. Women are a dalliance, and have no place in his personal quest. Then Grace rocks his world—not only sexually, but in her arms, his nightmares cease. To protect her, he pushes her away; he’s close to finding the culprit and Grace must not get tangled in the cross-fire.

When women matching Grace’s description start turning up dead in Central Park, Cole is forced to divide his influence between personal revenge and protection for the woman he has come to love. But throwing money at the problem only goes so far. Grace is in danger—can he get to her in time?
My Review
Grace Preston is a beautiful ex-model who is now a successful career woman. She has been through hell and back. She is determined to close her heart and not let another man in. She can’t open herself up, to have someone ripped out of her life again. I love Grace she is a spitfire and she is hilarious. I am totally digging her fierce attitude and love her fashion sense. Her mother is a whole different story in my book. Let’s just say that she was getting on my last nerve and more power to you Grace for having to deal with her FOREVER…. And girl, don’t get me started on Jonathan. He may be sexy as hell but he is a douchbag, thank the heavens you kicked his ass to the curb. I was like what the flip………with my mouth hanging wide open.
Cole Grayson, I have a huge crush on you, I am not going to lie. You my dear fine ass man are the perfect gentleman and I need you in my life. Cole let me hold you and I will make everything better. Ok, enough about me. LOL Cole Grayson is hot, sexy, and a multi-billion dollar real estate mogul at age of 28. He has so many secrets that he is so not willing to share. So he is a work-aclholic, power hungry, and loves control. Oh my gosh did I mention that she is super smart too! I know what you are thinking. Hold me Cole, please. I am too, no worries ladies. I feel it too! (Sorry lee)
This book is so not what I expected! I am speechless! Holy shit I didn’t I see any of this coming and I freaking loved it! I am still in shock on what just happened. I mean really, you have to be super creative to come up with this story. I wanted to yell, shake, hit, smack, bite, scream, and hug someone while reading this book. This book so well written and everything is crazy good. C.E. Hansen I don’t how did you do it?! How did you create this crazy amazing story? I need so much more and I can’t wait to get my hands on book two, I am starting it ASAP!
