Review for Fixing Him by Miranda Elaine

One summer.

Three months.

Ninety days spent learning every inch of Sam Matthews’ body. We agreed to no strings when our time was up. We promised we could both handle this. I lied. I never expected to fall for this man or this town. This was just supposed to be a stop on the way to starting my real life. But now, time is up and everything feels wrong. He says I’m too young. He says I’m too innocent. He says he’s not the type to settle down. He’s fixing my newly inherited home. Now, I’m fixing his frame of mind. *

***A Stand-Alone Romance***

My 5 star review

Hello Sam!

I loved this book!!!

This book has so many loveable characters in it. They will have you laughing and wishing you loved in their cute little town with them.

Fixing Him is definitely a feel good book for me. I mean really there is nothing in this book that you will not love.

Sam is this hot contractor guy who is in his thirties and Montana is this twenty two year old woman who has an old soul.

When these two met....let's just say one is trying to stay away while the other is trying to test out her best flirting skills.

This book has me giggling and it also had my cheeks glowing red. I love me some Sam!

I also can't wait to read the next book Fixing Her.

Oh and P.s. I need me a baby pig!

While reading this book the song that kept playing in my head was... Just the way you are by Bruno Mars!

Enjoy booklovers!

Despite Sloan's disapproval of Asa's sinister lifestyle, he does exactly what he needs to do in order to stay a step ahead in his business. He also does exactly what he needs to do in order to stay a step ahead of Sloan. Nothing will get in his way. Nothing except Carter.

My 5 star review

Holy mother of pearl!

Colleen Hoover you get me!! You get me every darn time with your books!

First off I got this book from my local Library and I was on the hold list for 6 weeks. I finally picked it up and read it in no time.

There is a lot of drama but real life drama in this book. Also I will be honest and tell you that I had no clue about this book...but I knew I had to read it.

Now...Asa, Sloan, and Luke, and Ryan! These characters are all trapped up in some lies, drama, and a bunch of illegal stuff.

I absolutely loves this book and i was hanging on the edge of my sit with each turning page. It was Brilliant and a total page turner!

The song that was playing in my head was I hate everything about you by Three days Grace

Happy reading book nerds!

Blurb

A captivating story about love, family secrets, and self-discovery.

I finally followed the life I always dreamed of. All of the pieces fell into an easy path, but the illusion of perfection hid the pain I was still carrying.

Until I met him.

They say when you cross paths with a twin flame, everything changes. Matthias proved that to be true as he stripped me down, removing the illusion and baring every single truth I refused to look at.

He was the love that could deconstruct my patterns. If only I could accept that the one lie I’ve believed my entire life is the only truth.

My 5 Star review

Breathtakingly beautiful in every sense of the word..

Excerpt

“The stars always remind me that there’s something greater out there than the bullshit we live.”
“You’re right,” he agrees.
“It reminds me that no matter what, I’ll return to stardust. When I do, I want to be rid of the baggage.”
“They’re just challenges we chose so we can evolve.”
“Why did I choose certain things?” My voice is a whisper.
“I don’t know.” I watch him shake his head.
“At least we get to admire the beauty above from here.” I look back at the sky.
“You and I were born from the same star,” he whispers, his breath tickling my ear. “And we’ll return to it once again.”
Matthias’s arms wrap around my chest, holding me close to him. I close my eyes as his scent surrounds me. Home. That’s what he feels like. As if all the roads I’ve been lost on finally led to the destination I didn’t even know I was seeking. As if I was never really lost, but simply on a journey to get to this point. Meeting Matthias is more than romance. It’s more than being in a relationship. This is something so deep, words can’t describe it, and most people don’t believe in.
Every worry escapes me as I feel this man’s arms hold me. We were split from the same source, sent on different paths that mirrored each other until we were ready to meet again.
My arms curl around his at my chest, lacing our fingers. This is a sensation I want forever. This is someone I can’t lose. He deserves for me to be fully present with him. We’ll bring things out of each other, but only so we can clear them.

Review/Release Day for The Reason by Stacy M Wray

Lily Turner was married to her best friend. Trouble was, it wasn’t much more than that. After the romance ended, so did the marriage.
When Lily met Casey Dunlap at a local café, their attraction was immediate, yet innocent, his sexy charm instantly drawing her in. When their harmless meetings slowly evolved into more than just friends, Lily struggled with the magnetic pull Casey had on her, not knowing what to do.
It should have been easy - she was no longer going to be married. She had no reason to drag her feet…

Except that Casey was nearly fifteen years her junior - only ten years older than her teenage son. What would her kids think? How could she possibly do this?

My 5 Star Review

I absolutely loved this read. It was so real and it was full if emotion.

Lily and Mark have been together and married for a long time. They have two beautiful children(Charlie and Joshua) and they fell out of love.

Unfortunately it happens to the best of us and we just have to keep pushing forward.

I love Lily! I mean there was a part in this book where she made me so angry and I just wanted to share some sense into her....but her kids did that for me.

Again this book is so real and once you read it you will know exactly what I am talking about.

Then there is Casey who happens to be 15 years younger than Lily. But age is just a number.

Let me tell you...I got a crush on Casey! Ugh...he was telling Charlie jokes while she was in the hospital..XOXOX

Loved this book!!!

Release Day We Shouldn't by Vi Keeland

We Shouldn’t
A Standalone Contemporary Romance

#1 New York Times Bestselling Author Vi Keeland

BLURB

Bennett Fox walked into my life on one hell of a crappy Monday morning.

I was late for the first day at my new job—a job I’d now have to compete for even though I’d already worked eight years to earn it, because of an unexpected merger.

While I lugged my belongings up to my new office, a meter maid wrote me a parking summons.

She’d ticketed a long line of cars—except for the Audi parked in front of me, which happened to be the same make and model as mine.

Annoyed, I decided to regift my ticket to the car that had evaded a fine.  Chances were, the owner would pay it and be none the wiser.

Except, I accidentally broke the windshield wiper while slipping the ticket onto the car’s window.

Seriously, my day couldn’t get any worse.

Things started to perk up when I ran into a gorgeous man in the elevator.  We had one of those brief moments that only happened in movies.

You know the deal…your body lights up, fireworks go off, and the air around you crackles with electricity.

His heated stare left me flushed when I stepped off the elevator.

Maybe things here wouldn’t be so bad after all.

Or so I thought.

Until I walked into my new boss’s office and met my competition.

The gorgeous man from the elevator was now my nemesis. His heated stare wasn’t because of any mutual attraction.  It was because he’d seen me vandalize his car. And now he couldn’t wait to annihilate his rival.

There’s a fine line between love and hate—and we shouldn’t cross it.

We shouldn’t—but straddling that line could be so much fun.

Review for The Paris Wedding by Charlotte Nash

When is it right to follow your heart?

From the plains of rural Australia to Paris, the City of Love, lose yourself in this touching and romantic story by the bestselling author of THE HORSEMAN Ten years ago, Rachael West chose not to move to Sydney with high-school sweetheart Matthew.

Instead she stayed on the family wheat farm, caring for her seriously ill mother and letting go of her dreams. Now, Matthew is marrying someone else. And Rachael is invited to the wedding, a lavish affair in Paris, courtesy of the flamboyant family of Matthew's fiancée - a once-in-a-lifetime celebration at someone else's expense in Europe's most romantic city.

She is utterly unprepared for what the week brings. Friendships will be upended, secrets will be revealed - and on the eve of the wedding, Rachael is faced with an impossible dilemma: should she give up on the promise of love, or destroy another woman's life for a chance at happiness?

My 5 star read

I listened to the audiobook and I was zoned in the entire time.

Rachel is a young woman who put her life on hold to take care of her sick mother and the farm. She loved her mother and was fine doing it. But what she really didnt realize is the life she missed but never knew she wanted. Matthew was the love of Rachel's life.

They separated once Matthew went to college because she could not follow him, she needed to be there for her mother.

Then 10 years later Rachel receives a wedding invitation in the mail and it isnt just any invitation. This invite is to Matthew's wedding and it is all expense paid to Paris.

Now they say that Paris is the place to find love but they never say what kind of love. I believe that Rachel can find just the right love that her soul needs and she does just that.

Now while listening to this book I got all kinds of frustrated with Rachel because I knew she was make some horrible mistakes...but she had to figure them out on her own.

This book will lift you up when you didnt even know you needed to be lifted. This book will make you take a break and stop to smell the roses... in other words this book will make you think more of the things that matter and less of the things we can't change.

Happy reading

Review for The Slam by Haleigh Lovell

An athlete.

An Aspie.

A love story.

I didn't want her here. I didn't want to be entrusted with her care. You see, she has Asperger's and she struggles with social cues. Somehow, she's convinced me to be her social coach. Somehow, the lines have blurred . . .

My 5 star read

I really enjoyed this 5 star read.

The characters in this book are extremely easy to like, well except for one. There is one character that is a real butthole.

Adeline is this extraordinary young woman who has Asperger's. She is highly functioning and she is starting her freshman year in college.

Ender is a young man who was bosom buddies with Adeline when they were kids. He loved her straight forwardness then and he even loves it now.

These two characters are as cute as can be. They are playing on a very fine line but I promise you will enjoy them 100%

Go an one click this read, you will not be disappointed!
