Lauren (Laurie) Hanson
ran away from money and stability to have her own independence and to be able
to live her own life on her terms. But now she is in need of a fake fiancée so
she can get what she has really only ever wanted.
Chase Wright is a hot
gorgeous mysterious actor that Laurie hires to help her fake out her
step-father so she can get what her mother left her. She wants this to be a
business deal and he wants this to be more than just a deal.
There is so much
mystery in this book and it is killing me, because normally I can figure things
out. BUT not this one. Laurie has secrets in her past that is clearly
preventing her from actually having a happy/normal future. Chase is well one
big mystery, because I have no idea what his mission is. I mean don't get me
wrong I love Chase and hell I will date him/marry him if Laurie will not go
through with it but I still don't understand him.
Then once things are
starting to get really juicy it ends. I will not lie....I did throw my kindle
down and said a few words that I am not proud of. LOL but I have to blame the
authors because they did one hell of a job with keeping the readers on their
toes.
This last thing that
I will say is that I will be stalking their author pages so I will know when
book 2 comes out!
