Genre: A Dark Novel

Author: Mary E. Palmerin

Are people born pure?

Is evil learned, or is it birthed into one's soul, like a fallen angel who was previously part of graciousness?

Rhys is decayed, black, and bad. He cut distortion out of his life years before, but he let her live; his only way to gain redemption once more.

As his sinful needs blanket him with dread, he seeks penance from the soul he saw as a second chance.

Is absolution too late for Rhys?

My 5 star review

This book has more meaning to me than you will ever know. I got to witness the birth of Rhys and Wren...behind the scenes and all. We were on a road trip and I was there when Mary was planning and plotting. It is unbelievably amazing to know about the story and then see it come to life on paper.
Rhys is a very troubled man who literally is the devil himself. But I the same breath he feels like he is one of God's own people. He in my opinion is God's fallen angel. I still love him and even after all the crazy things he has done. I still want his soul to be cleansed. I need this villain to be saved to be freed.
Wren is not the girl you thing she is....that would be the author's signature line " nothing is what is seems".
Now I can't tell you how I am feeling at this moment because I am lost. I want there to be more and hell I am not even sure if we will get more. Do I need to let my mind wonder?! I am not even sure. But I will tell you that everyone has a past, everyone has secrets and some are more messed up than others.
So I leave you with this...I loved and enjoyed this twisted crazy insane book. Oh and one more thing....I love Constantine!
