Review for The Perfect Alibi by Phillip Margolin
A young woman accuses a prominent local college athlete of rape. Convicted with the help of undisputable DNA evidence, the athlete swears his innocence and threatens both his lawyer and his accuser as he's sent to prison. Not long after, there's another rape and the DNA test shows that the same person committed both rapes—which is seemingly impossible since the man convicted of the first rape was in prison at the time of the second one. Now, the convicted athlete, joined by a new lawyer, is granted a new trial and bail. Shortly thereafter, his original lawyer disappears and his law partner is murdered.
Robin Lockwood is a young lawyer with a prestigious small law firm and a former MMA fighter who helped pay for Yale Law School with her bouts. She is representing the victim of the first rape for her civil lawsuit against her rapist, who is now convinced the rapist is stalking her and trying to intimidate her. At the same time, another client is up on a murder charge—one that should be dismissed as self-defense—but the D.A. trying the case is determined to bring it to trial. Now she has to mastermind two impossible cases, trying to find the hidden truth that links the two of them.
My 4 star review
This is my first Phillip Margolin book and wow, just wow!
This book is full of characters and they range from good to pure evil.
I can honestly say that I could not put my kindle down at all.
The title says it all....The Perfect Alibi! While reading this book I had no idea what the outcome would be.
I had no idea who killed who or if he even raped the girl.
I mean my mind is still blown away on what happened in this story.
Again I mean wow!

Review for The Baller by Vi Keeland
The first time I met Brody Easton was in the men's locker room.
It was my first interview as a professional sportscaster. The famed quarterback decided to bare all. And by all, I don't mean he told me any of his secrets. No.
The arrogant ass decided to drop his towel, just as I asked the first question. On camera. The Super Bowl MVP quickly adopted a new hobby--screwing with me. When I pushed back, he shifted from wanting to screw with me, to wanting to screw me.
But I don't date players. And it's not because I'm one of the few women working in the world of professional football. I'd date an athlete. It's the other kind of player I don't date. You know the type.
Good looking, strong, cocky, always looking to get laid. Brody Easton was the ultimate player. Every woman wanted to be the one to change him. But the truth was, all he needed was a girl worth changing for. Turned out, I was that girl. Simple right?
Let's face it. It never is. There's a story between once upon a time and happily ever after... And this one is ours.
My 5 star review
My name is in this book!!!!!
Well not me but just my name. LOL This book will shock you!
One minute I am swooning over a football player and then the next I am sobbing like a baby.
Vi Keeland what have you done to me!
First you give me Brody! This sexy football player and in reality has a heart of gold.
Second you give me Delilah. A beautiful reporter that at a young age lost the love of her life. She hasn't opened up her heart to anyone.
Third you give me Willow. The character that I wanted so badly to hate but ending up loving her. This women who ran away for the past four years and have only been clean for 11 months.
I have been so upset with this book. I mean how can you ruin the flower that has been blooming between Brody and Delilah!
Then the story told a complete different turn! Ugh the speech Brody gave....I am crying over Oatmeal Cookies!

Review for Fleeting by Carrie Aarons
ππ―πΌππ ππ΅π² ππΌπΌπΈ:
Presley McDaniel lives her life from moment to moment.
Making permanent decisions means obligation, and that would force her to stop being the family disappointment. Waitress, fitness instructor, dog walker … you name the hourly job and she’s probably held the position.
But when her grandmother can no longer run her book shop in Fawn Hill, a town so small it barely has its own zip code, Presley steps up to help.
The move from bustling city to green pastures may be exactly what she needs to sort out her life. But she didn’t ask for that happy ending to include a gorgeous veterinarian with an all-American smile and a penchant for snuggling puppies.
The good doctor is reliable, responsible, and just the kind of man Presley has always avoided.
Love and commitment are predictable.
So why, the moment she lays eyes on him, are they all she wants?
Keaton Nash has never questioned his steady path.
His brothers may tease him about settling into his father’s passed-down role of small town veterinarian, but Keaton has never minded his rural roots. And after tragedy struck two years ago, he has a duty as the eldest Nash man to look after his family.
What he doesn’t need is the sexy, flighty stranger who shows up in town and gets his broken heart beating again. Presley McDaniel is a distraction, a red-headed temptation that is the definition of a bad idea.
He’s barely recovered from the love who left him to chase bigger dreams, and this woman is bound to do the same.
Except for the first time ever, he wants to abandon stability. She makes him want to be reckless.
My 5 star review
I love Carrie Aarons!
Hello Nash brothers!
I am not sure which one I want first!
Keaton Nash is a veterinarian who followed in his late father's footsteps.
Presley is a young woman that went to her grandmothers rescue. She is now working at her bookstore/packaging store.
This book was so good! I love me a super cute love story that is real! I mean I am not sure if this is a true story but it can totally be a true story.
These two characters reminds me of me and my husband in a way. I myself always run away and I too never finish things I start.
Also me and my husband are the complete opposite. I am all city and he is all country. I absolutely love this book, even writing this review my cheeks are pink and I am sporting a smile on my face!
The song that was playing in my head was Craving you by Maren Morris and Thomas Rhett.

Synopsis
A washed-up model at the age of 27, Oliver Connely has gone from
being a household name to barely making the rent. It’s time to think fast—and
cash in big—with a can’t-miss idea inspired by the passion he sees in a handful
of romance novel fans. Book Boyfriend Incorporated is born.
Can’t. Miss.
Right?
Except for the unexpected glitches Oliver’s business plan doesn’t
cover—like falling for one of his “lonely lady” clients, Bailey Hardin, a
politician’s wife who’s as smart and loyal as she is beautiful and sexy. Their
chemistry, instant and scorching, is already a problem—but when Bailey’s
husband turns up dead, the pair quickly learns they’re facing more than a
simple PR nightmare.
The mess intensifies when Oliver’s best friend decides to put a
bid in for the freshly vacated city manager position, ensuring Oliver is now
caught between his longtime best friend and his new ladylove. The clock is
ticking, and the political scandal is growing. Tough decisions must be
made—especially because, for the first time in Oliver’s life, matters of his
heart are on the line.
****
Misadventures is a romantic
series of spicy standalone novels, each written or co-written by some of the
best names in romance. The stories are scandalous, refreshing, and, of course,
incredibly sexy. They’re the perfect bedside read, a ‘quick blush’ for the
reader who loves a page-turning romance.
My 3.5 Star review:
I was expecting so much more from this book. The Synopsis is amazing and it drawal you in but the whole book didn't do it for me. I am not sure if it was because I didn't click with Oliver or not. Some of the woman in this book broke my heart and they were just as cute as can be.
There is a little politics in this book as well, which I am not a fan of politics. I am also not a fan of his new beau, can you say that for a woman?!
The character that I truly enjoyed was his best friend!
Victoria Blue lives in her
own portion of the galaxy known as Southern California. There she finds the
love and life sustaining power of one amazing sun, two unique
and awe inspiring planets and three indifferent, yet comforting
moons.
Life is fantastic and
challenging and everyday brings new adventures to be discovered. She
looks forward to seeing what's next!

Review for Playboy Pilot by Vi Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland
Money or love? Which would you choose? You probably just answered the question in your head thinking it's an easy decision. For me, it's not. Did I mention it's a lot of money? A hell of a lot. I needed to go far away to think it through. As I embarked on an impulsive trip, I hit a detour when I met sexy Carter in the airport lounge. We struck up a heated conversation. Then, he left. I thought I'd never see him again. But fate had other plans. Surprise! He was the pilot of my flight. The bigger surprise was the adventure that followed after the plane landed. Carter was dangerous and always on the move. Even though our connection was magnetic, I knew it was only temporary. He would give me tickets, and I would follow him around the world to exotic places. A bevy of flight attendant exes and rumors about Carter's reputation were never far behind. I didn't know what to believe. But I was addicted. Nothing else mattered anymore. And I was going to get hurt. Because a part of me wanted to be the one to finally ground the playboy pilot. At the very least, he was taking me on a thrilling ride. All good things must come to an end, right? Except our ending was one I didn't see coming.
My 5 star review
Wow...
This book did not go like I thought it would. I am completely shocked! I freaking loved this book.
Carter is extremely loveable! I love how he is one way but then you really get to see how he really is.
Kendall...not the biggest fan due to her running away and leaving Carter at the airport. I still thinks Carter deserves a hell of a lot better than Kendal...maybe me... I mean anyone.
But for real this book was way better than I anticipated! Then the end blew my mind! Naturally the song that was playing over and over again was...
