Review for Atheist who kneels and prays by Tarryn Fisher

Yara Phillips is a wandering muse.

She dates men who need her, but always moves on to something new, never staying in one place for very long.

David Lisey is in need of a muse.

A talented musician lacking lyrical inspiration. When he first sees her, he knows he's found what he's been looking for.

Yara believes she can give David exactly what he needs to reach his full potential:
A broken heart.

David’s religion is love.

Yara’s religion is heartache.

Neither is willing to surrender, but religion always requires sacrifice.

My 5 Star review:

I stayed up till 1am on a work night to finish this book. I had to do it and I was determined to do so.

Yara is a woman after my own heart. She has a gypsy soul and never stays in a place longer than one normally does.

Then she meets David and her whole world changes. One would say that she ran away and got spooked because she never felt love, so how could she show love.

But to me that is not it at all. I believe that Yara saved David and gave him all the power that he needed to succeed and be brilliant! She told him that she felt like he was faking it when he performed and now that his heart has ripped out and is sitting in his hand, he no longer needs to fake it. Because he feels it!

Also David saved Yara. He helped her grow and gave her space until that space was suffocating her.

I will not go into detail because this so called love story is one hell of a love story.

This story is real on so many levels it isn't even funny! I myself was Yara and I still am to this day...married and all. See my husband knows me and he knows what he signed up for. I may not run like Yara but I push the limits to see if he will fight for me. Also on our first date he told me that he would marry me one day. My husband is a lot like David as well. But to be 100% honest I believe we all have a piece of these characters is us.

That is what makes this story so real and very dear to all of our hearts.

Bravo Tarryn Fisher on your words! You tell all of our stories and the struggle is real but you my dear are the bright light at the end of the rainbow!

Thank you for sharing Yara and David's story. This story is not tucked away deep within my heart and soul.

“That’s the thing, Yara,” she’d said to me. “There is no moving on when you’re truly in love. You try and you keep trying, but that love is a stain on your life.

I didn’t know if I was smiling because he was calling me English, which was utterly ridiculous, or if I was amused by the fact he was planning our life together.

New York Times & USA Today bestselling author Tarryn Fisher is cooler than you, but not one to rub it in your face. She graduated first in her class at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She is a lover of human nature, and a real life villain (House of Slytherin). Her heart is dark, but she loves you with it anyway. Currently she lives in Washington with her son and daughter, and just finished her ninth novel, Bad Mommy, which is now available.

Review for God-Shaped Hole by Tiffanie Debartolo

"God-Shaped Hole will change you as a reader, writer and human. It is rare books like this one that remind me why I fell in love with the written word." — Colleen Hoover

"With wit and humor, the author brings these characters and their quirky, artsy friends alive. Bottom Line: You'll dig it" — People

My 5 Star review:

I think my heart is broken.
My heart is literally broken.

I was so intrigued with the line on the front of the cover. It drew me in and I just had to get this book.

When I was twelve,
a fortune teller told me that my one true love would die young and leave me all alone.”

I have a million and one books to read, and I begged my husband to buy me this book. That is how badly I wanted to read this book.

So here I am sitting next to my husband with tears in my eyes whining to him about how Tiffanie Debartolo just broke my heart.

The story of Beatrice and Jacob is a love that will go down in history. They were true soul mates. They saw, they meet, they feel in love and I am totally serious.

I am sure some may say...umm that is not how it works. Well yes, yes it does.

Anyway, this story is so amazing, and it will awaken all of your senses.... why you ask?! Because this author did one hell of a job writing this book.

This book is like poetry to me. The words will cut into your veins and you will bleed these very words.

Beatrice and Jacob are inspiring and very terrifying all in one breath. They are the prefect couple. They are the real couple. The one that loves, fights, runs away, and then comes back for more.

I freaking loved this book and it touched my heart and soul.

Thank you Tiffani Debartolo for giving me another perspective on life and how we need to live in the moment because you never know what will happen next.

Review for her book Boyfriend by K.R. Grace

She believes the secret to love is in the tropes of her favorite romance novels. He’s the best friend prepared to prove her wrong.

Then comes the bet.

If she can’t land a boyfriend for prom by recreating the ten popular tropes in her favorite romance author’s books, she has to go to the prom with her.

The glitch?

They’ve been close their entire lives. He’s the rock god and school legend, while she’s the brainy sidekick who does all his dirty breakups. Thus, finding a guy who doesn’t think they’re already an item is going to be a lot harder than she thinks.

Will she land the book boyfriend of her dreams? Or will she be forced to go to prom with her best friend?

The truth is in the pages.

My 5 Star Review

This book is super cute and I need more!!!

Camden is the perfect high school crush, is that weird to say at 35, I hope not. Anyway this character is pretty much everything a girl in high school would want. He is funny, smart, caring, sweet, oh and a lead singer in a band.

Macey is a girl after my own heart. She has major insecurities but she is extremely gorgeous, she just doesn't know it. She is super smart and in the running for valedictorian.

While reading this book you will think back to your awkward moments, crushes, dances, the lunchroom, and so much more.

Omg...I am in love with this book. Being a mother this book has me super excited for my girls to get into high school. For me what is when your life start to shape and make a little sense.

So thank you K.R. Grace for writing such an amazing young adult read. I really needed this is my life. I love it and can't wait for book two to get here!

I love me some Cam and Mace!!!!

About the Author:

As a child, K.R. Grace had an overactive imagination. When it was obvious she wasn’t going to change anytime soon, her mom shoved a pen and paper in her hand and said, “Write it down.” So, at the age of eight, her first story was born, and the writing hasn’t stopped since. When she’s not running with wolves, sleeping with bears, or flying with falcons, she can be found checking out local bands or watching movies about things that go “boo” in the night. She has a dog that is afraid of his own shadow and a cat that was a mob leader in a former life.

Review for The Sweetness of Life by Kathryn Andrews

Title: The Sweetness of Life
Series: Starving for Southern Series #1
Author: Kathryn Andrews
Genre: Chic-lit/Contemporary Romance

BLURB

Shelby Leah
I love food. I love everything about it.
My dream has always been to land a job with the Food Network channel, and I’ve spent years as a food critic, blogger, and chef, tasting my way across the South to develop recipes that are a twist on the classics and uniquely my own. When a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity comes calling, I’m shocked to discover I’ve been paired with him, the worst blind date ever—bless his heart, and I’m determined not to let anyone get in my way. So, I buckle my designer heels, tighten my apron, and vow to myself there’s nothing in his playbook that’s going to stop me from tasting success.

Zach Wolff
I love wine. It is my life.
What I hate are critics. I hate everything about their dream-killing souls and elitist attitudes. So, when she shows up in the tasting room of my winery in northern Georgia, the devil in disguise wearing a pair of long legs and beautiful hazel eyes, I know just the plan to make and how to use her to get what I want. What she doesn’t know won’t hurt her, because in the end, I will win. I always do.

Two weeks.
His wine. Her recipes. A feature article in a special issue of a world-renowned magazine.
Pairing wine with food is one thing, but two hearts is another.

My 5 star review:

I am in love with this story. This story is full of excitement and so much more.

Reading this book made me wish that Wolff Winery really did exist, because if it did I would be all over It!

Zach and Shelby make my heart skip a beat. The chemistry that these two characters have are life altering.

I mean when they see each other again you can feel the hate thought the pages of your kindle. Then after a few change of events, you can feel the love and chemistry that have.

It is quite beautiful! I felt like I was part of this story. When Kyle got a headache I has one. When Shelby cheeks were flushed, my cheeks were flushed.

I have to be honest and say that this is now on my top 5 reads of 2017!

This book will make you fall in love with love, bees, honey, food, pies, Zach, and Shelby...yes and even Kyle and Michelle.

Kathryn Andrews my love you did a freaking fabulous job with this book. I love it so much!!!! I need this book to be a movie! Asap!!!

The part that broke me...
I focus on how, with each exhale, her breath rushes out, and my name is whispered past her lips and against my skin. It’s the sexiest sound I’ve ever heard.
