Under Contract

Charlotte McKendrick is your typical thirty-something
stay-at-home mom. She has three beautiful children, a loving family, special
friends, and the most wonderful, adoring husband. Her life is a dream.
Er . . . let’s try this again.
Charlotte McKendrick is not your typical thirty-something stay-at-home mom. Yes, she’s got three beautiful children, a loving family (all of them lingerers—you’ll see), and her friends are special, all right! As far as her wonderful, adoring husband, what a joke! That bastard abandoned her and the kids six months ago.
Now, she will do anything she can to survive and provide for her children. Even if it means signing on the dotted line . . .
Mitch Colton is the CEO of Colton Technologies. Most of his year is spent traveling around the world, bringing companies the latest innovations in automobile technology. He doesn’t have time for a traditional relationship and the BS that comes with it. He doesn’t do the “marriage” thing, the “kid” thing, and he certainly doesn’t do the “falling in love” thing. All that said, he still wants someone to come home to. Someone who will offer everything he wants, and nothing he doesn’t. He realizes loyalty paired with these kinds of demands won’t come cheap. No problem. What he doesn’t realize is that once Charlotte McKendrick signs that dotted line, he’ll be paying with a lot more than money.

My
5 Star review
Charlotte McKendrick is a very funny, beautiful, cute,
and loveable character. She was married but her husband up and left her and
their three kids because in his terms, she didn’t work for him anymore. Men
like that make me so mad. But Charlotte is a great mother and won’t let him
leaving take the best of her. She will do anything she can to keep a roof over their
heads and take care of her babies.
Mitch Colton is the CEO of Colton Technologies. I like
this character a lot. He is about 10 years older than me, but I will still happily
add him to my book boyfriend list. He is a head strong business man and only has
time for his career. But every man needs to have a companion, even if he
doesn’t have the time for one. He has needs and surely intends to get those
needs filled.
Charlotte and Mitch meet up to see if they are a fit to
be business partners. She is only thinking about how she needs to support her
children financially and being able to still have all her time with them. He
just wants what he wants. Little did Charlotte know what she was giving up when
signing on the dotted line and well, Mitch had no clue what he was getting into
with Charlotte. All he needs is a girlfriend who will give him what he needs
when he needs it no questions asked. Will Charlotte be able to do no strings
attached? And Mitch, will he over step the boundaries he’s set for himself in
what seems to be just another business contract? Both are in a predicament and
are not sure where it will lead. So, check it out and see where this tale will
take them.
Under Contract is a very east read and freaking
hilarious. The story is funny, sassy, hot, and steamy. Who knew signing a
contract would be so delicious, stressful, heart breaking, and freaking
amazing. Jacquelyn will defiantly suck you into Charlotte and Mitch’s story and
you will be begging to never leave. I loved this book and yes, there is a
happily ever after, but we all know that it doesn’t ever come easy. There is
more than just contracts and hot sex in this book and I have no doubts you will
enjoy every second of it.
Oh, one more thing… Jacquelyn Ayres can I join the club too? My
name also starts with the letter C. Wink, Wink!
