My 5 Star Review
I absolutely loved this book.
Every word oozed poetry and I was desperate to absorb every single drop!
Samantha is a young woman who had this life of pure raw ugliness. My heart broke for what she went through for being someone so young. She ran from the life that she knew for a life that she should of never been in.
What if she was never there? What if she never absorbed that very corner behind that very glass? Would she still be a strong woman? Did that glass curtain teach her to have strong skin? Did that glass curtain give her the revenge that her body and soul craved?
I can tell you that I can relate to Samantha more than you will ever know. This character got me, like she got underneath my skin and sank into my soul.
The words on these pages snuck into my cracked walls and this book..no this story will never be forgotten. This is one of those books that you hold dear to your heart and you never want to let it go.
Max, oh my sweet beautiful Max! Max is pure, gorgeous and has a beautiful soul. I love Max and my God the things that come out of his mouth broke my heart but yet put it back together.
I was not happy about the ending but I know that we needed this ending and it was bittersweet for me. While reading this book other alternate endings were playing in my mind.
I can assure you that Max is real in my world and I am sure each and everyone of us has met an individual that has come into our life at the perfect moment.
Loved this book and I hope you did too!
P.S....While reading this book all I could like of was this song!
