Review for Perfect kind of Trouble by Chelsea Fine

Perfect kind of Trouble
by Chelsea Fine

Release date: June 17th, 2014

Sometimes when perfect falls apart, a little trouble fixes everything . . .

Twenty-one-year-old Kayla Turner has lost everything. After spending most of her life taking care of her ailing mother, she just wants to spot a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel. So when her late father-a man she barely knew-leaves her an inheritance, she finally breathes a sigh of relief . . . until she learns the inheritance comes with strings. Strings in the form of handsome playboy Daren Ackwood, her father's protégé. To see any of her inheritance, she's forced to team up with him. From his expensive car to those sexy dimples, Kayla's seen his type before. But Daren isn't who he seems to be . . .

Struggling to make amends for his family's mistakes, Daren has a life more Oliver Twist than Richie Rich these days. He's beyond grateful that James Turner included him in his will, but working with Turner's princess of a daughter to fulfill his cryptic last wish is making Daren wonder if being broke is really so bad. Still, she's just as beautiful as she is stubborn, and the more time he spends with Kayla, the less it feels right being without her. Soon Daren and Kayla begin to wonder if maybe the best gift Kayla's dad could have left them . . . was each other.

My 4.5 start review

This book is very cute and I really enjoyed it very much. Now this book is a series and I didn’t read book 1 but I wasn’t lost. (Bonus) This is the first book from Chelsea Fine that I have read and now I need to read more by her. This book was very well written and I think she did a wonderful job and she defiantly will drag you into the characters worlds. For sure!

Kayla Turner is too beautiful for her own good and she never knows if people see her for her or her beauty. I loved this character. She is genuine, sweet, caring, and simply lovely. But when you read this book she will squeeze her way into your heart. I felt really bad for her and I know I love my parents and I know that they love me but I think I need to treasure them a lot more.

Daren Ackwood mister playboy himself…… This guy can get any and every woman he wants and he knows it. BUT what we don’t know is that there is more to this man than just his looks. He is sweet, sexy, loveable, and a broken man. He has been through some stuff and he is doing what he can to survive I guess you can say. He is also taking care of things that his dad has done and that all in itself is amazing.

Old Man Turner was Kayla Turners father. This man loved his daughter till the very end and she didn’t even know it till it was too late. Out of all the characters in this book my heart broke for him. He defiantly had the shit hand in all this. I mean all he wanted was to be a father too his daughter. I love the relationship that he formed with Daren. When Daren was younger he used to help Old Man Turner with his garden and their relationship grew from there.

So this story is super cute and full of adventure but it is also sad and heartbreaking. The things people will do for money. This book can teach some people a thing or two. I for one would rather be happy and broke then rich and lonely. While reading this book all I could think of was what my grandmother use to say to me… “never judge a book by its cover”

EXCERPT:

Still handcuffed together, we carefully maneuver our linked wrists and open the old train door. Inside, the boxcar is completely empty except for a single, folded piece of paper.
I scowl. Will this scavenger hunt for money ever end?
“What do you suppose it is?” Daren nods at the piece of paper in the back of the train car.
“A check for a million dollars?” I say hopefully.
The only way to reach the paper is to climb inside. Which won’t be easy since my chest barely reaches the bottom of the train car and we can’t climb in one at a time because, you know, we’re attached to one another.
I frown. “How do you want to do this?”
Daren scratches his jaw. “I’ll hoist you inside first then I’ll jump in. Come here.” He turns me around to face him and I step into the circle of his arms.
The summer sun burns down on us. I stare at his chest where his T-shirt pulls tight against the hard muscles of his pecs and a trickle of sweat slowly slides down the back of my neck.
The corded muscles of his neck ripple as he turns his head. “Hold on to my wrists. Then I’ll lift you up.”
He places his big hands on my waist and his thumbs slide under my shirt, grazing the bare skin of my stomach. A warm zing shoots down my belly.
I snap my eyes to him. “Did you do that on purpose?”
“Do what?” His expression is neutral but there’s a glimmer in his eye.
I eye him shrewdly as I wrap my hands around his wrists.
He glides the pads of his thumbs over my stomach again and another, more powerful, zing darts straight down my belly and between my legs as I suck in a breath.
“Cut it out,” I say.
“Cut what out?” His eyes dance with amusement.
“You know what.”
“I have no idea what you’re talking about.” A mischievous grin spreads across his face and I can’t stop the smile that starts to play at my own lips.
“Daren...”
His eyes lock on mine and the twitching low in my belly starts up again. Then his gaze drops to my mouth and hunger lights his eyes.
I absently part my lips, my thoughts suddenly hazy.
Leaning in, he whispers, “Now do you want to kiss again?”
His words flutter over my ear like soft, warm butterflies beating their wings against my sensitive skin and a shiver runs through me.
The answer is yes. I do want to kiss him again. It felt so good to have his mouth on mine last night. To feel him up against me.
But I don’t answer.
He brushes his thumbs over the naked skin of my belly again, but this time dips them inside the waistband of my skirt and skims the lacey top of my panties.
I inhale sharply, tightening my fingers around his wrists as my nipples harden and heat builds in my core. I rub my thighs together, trying to alleviate the ache slowly building between my legs but it’s no use. I’m already a tight puddle of need.
How come this beautiful man can make me melt with just a simple touch? And how come it’s always so difficult for me to snap out of his sexy gaze?
I blink away from Daren’s pretty brown eyes and playfully whisper, “No,” before shifting back a few inches.
His eyelids, heavy with desire, open fully as he scans my face and throat with a smile. “Liar.”
I smile back, grateful he doesn’t try to convince me otherwise. I’d no doubt give in if he did. Because Daren affects me.
Every other guy on the planet is just that: a guy.
But Daren is a force. And I am a feather.

EXCERPT

I let out the breath I was holding and took another step closer to her. The water was splashing on the sleeve of my shirt as I reached up to grab both of her cheeks in my palms. “Are you scared of me?”
It was the start of the questions I had asked her what felt like a lifetime ago. Her answer didn’t change, but this time when she answered, she was holding back a smile that made my heart hurt.
“Terrified, but I kind of like it now.”
“Do you trust me?” My voice broke. I had never really trusted anyone but Race and now there was her and my brother and just all kinds of new things making my life so much more complicated and undeniably fuller.
“With my life. I trust all the parts of you, Bax. You need to know that.”
“You going to go to bed with me?” That made her outright laugh and she reached up to curl her hands around my wrists.
“As often as I can and anyplace in between when the mood strikes.” The rest of the blood racing around my system went solidly south.
I dropped my forehead so it was resting on hers and the water from the showerhead was cascading down around us. I was making a mess, but I didn’t care because I had her, and she was my home. “Do you love me?”
The words sounded so foreign, but so right, when I was saying them to her. She brushed her full lips across mine and the last three months without her faded away.
“Do you want me to lie to you or tell you the truth?”
I smiled against her mouth and kissed her back twice as hard as she had kissed me. “Lie to me.”
She reached up and put her arms around my neck and took a step back, dragging me all the way into the shower stall with her. The water was lukewarm at best, and it made me shiver. So did the fact that she started to impatiently pull the tail of my shirt up over my head. A task made increasingly difficult considering I was now soaked head to toe and the material was clinging to me.
“Of course not. You’re the last person in the world I could love.”

It's the interview like no other.
It's the interview of a lifetime.
It's THE Interview with a Master.
When Jonah Noble reveals details of his life within the world of BDSM, the tale he tells is intensely erotic, profoundly sensual, and brutally honest.

(BDSM erotica from a man's POV, written by a man. Contains some explicit language)

Book Quotes

“It wasn’t about physical domination for me. It still isn’t. It’s about that emotional transfer of power: the command and control. That’s what turns me on, Leticia. That’s what I find so addictive about being a Master. I love the power, given to me by the submissive.”

“Anticipation is more potent than a whip and more compelling than handcuffs. The ability to tease and arouse a woman is a subtle skill few men ever bother to learn,” I said. “But learning the art of anticipation can make a woman go weak at the knees with longing.”

“Every woman who is aroused by submission is also aroused by an alpha male who can tame her. These women aren’t looking for a husband in the bedroom who will make them feel safe and loved. They already have that in their relationship. These women are looking for a man who is strong enough to conquer them. That way the woman can still feel vibrant and independent… but also feel comfortable submitting to their lover. That’s the turn-on for women. They don’t want to submissives… they want to feel like they can’t resist submitting.”

Review for Black Horse by Addison Kline

    Black Horse
    by Addison Kline

There is no sensation, no experience more delicious and tempting to the senses than the taste of forbidden love. The longing… The desire… The unquenched thirst for his touch. He was the man I was never supposed to love. I was supposed to hate him. I suppose part of me did and that is what made the desire so much more intense. He set a fire under my skin that burned white hot with every smoldering glance. He sets my soul ablaze, the slow burn of passion aching in every inch of my body.

Black Horse. The name haunted my dreams… But regardless of family vendettas, old hurts and contemptuous blood shed, the heart wants what it wants… and mine has a mind of its own and my mind is set on Colton McClain.

    My 5 star review

“Nothing is permanent in this wicked world… not even our troubles”
    Charlie Chaplin

I was 2% into this book and I already knew that this book was going to be something good, intense, and jaw dropping. I was reading the Prologue and didn’t even realize I was holding my damn breath. It was nail biting, heart-stopping, madness, darkness, crazy good and I didn’t even get to chapter one. So good!
Tom McClain is a son of a bitch. (A.K.A. Black Horse) He is a mean, ruthless, fearless, not a care in the world, cold, dangerous, and downright crazy man!! He is a very evil man who has done some very bad unforgiveable things in my opinion. Hell he isn’t even a man he is the damn devil.
Colton McClain is a Wow! This man had to endure so much in his life. He had to witness his father Tom McClain abuse himself and his mother over and over at the young age of three. Poor little Colton watched his father murder his mother. He will go to hell and back just to keep Averi safe and I freaking love it! Now I love Colton and I just want to tug him and make is whole world better.
Averi ford is a force of nature. This girl is a total spit fire and she can definitely take care of herself. She is beautiful and very strong willed.  She has gone through hell and back. She was there when her parents were murdered and she witness her brother get murdered I love how she handles here brothers in this book.
Averi has been friend with Colton her entire life and he is the love of her life. I love how she is behind her mans side no matter what. Yes his father is the devil himself but that doesn’t stop her from loving this man. Hell I would do that same damn thing. Colton is smoking hot. (sorry lee, I am taking him too)
Now with all that being said, this book here needs to be turned into a mini movie. No joking. I was on the edge of my seat the entire book. Addison Kline did one hell of a job with this book. The plot and the story line, I didn’t see any of this stuff coming! AMAZING!!!! I am in complete shock right now! I mean it is full of anything and everything you need. I mean murder, crimes, lies, love, hate, betrayal, lust, sex, hot ass men, romance, I mean really!

Review for Rumor By Glenna Maynard

    Rumor
    By
    Glenna Maynard

**Contains Violence, language and sexual situations Not for the faint of heart.**
Haunted by the past Grim's story continues in Rumor; book two of The Black Rebel Riders' MC. Grim is trying to keep the one promise he made Red, finding her daughter Sarah. Things are heating up between a club once thought to be a friend and an old enemy. Grim has to decide where his loyalties truly lie. Will Grim keep his promise and keep his patch?

** Sometimes, the lines that bond you are the ones that threaten to end your very existence. Loyalties are tested and lines are crossed, leaving a trail of despair on the highway to hell.

'Rumor has it that, one day the Grim Reaper is going to come for you.' Those are the words that have reverberated through my head most of my life. You know that saying about becoming a bird so you can fly away, I too want to be a bird, and I want to fly far away from here... Sarah has lived a secluded life of torment and despair. She longs for the day the Grim reaper she has been raised to fear comes to end the hell she has endured.

    My 5 star review

I just finished this book and I am left with what in the hell just happened. I have to say the Grim was good but damn Rumor is way, way better.
This book is full of a lot of things and you will love every bit of it, I promise.
Grim I still love this sexy ass motorcycle riding beast. This man has been through some shit and he has the tear drops to prove all his stories. Even though he is this bad man and they call him the Grim Reaper he is still my man.
Baby (Grim and Red’s daughter) is a real feisty young lady. But I really like her character. I really like how Glenna Maynard gave her some traits for her father and her mother. Let’s just say this girl can have any man wrapped around her finger.
Rumor (Sarah) has seen hell. She has had the worst life you can ever imagine. I have to say that I have a hard time reading some of it because of the kind of hell she goes through.
Sunshine is my girl. I really love this character and I really hope that Grim has finally found his soul mate in a world of hell. She is an I don’t take any kind of bullshit or I will hand you your balls on a silver platter. I like I said, I really like her.
This story will leave you saying holy shit! Glenna Maynard blew my damn mind with the story and the plot. I would have never guessed that Hook had any part in anything. To tell you the truth I forgot all about his old behind. But this book is everything you never knew you wanting and I really mean that. Like I said before Sons of Anarchy you better watch out cause I think that The Black Rebel Rider’s need to have their own damn show!
