Us By Angel

US

You make me happy, crazy, stressed out, frantic, and a million other things. You had me the very first time I seen your handsome, sexy face in highschool. You made me feel like I had millions of butterflies in my belly. You were the sweestest guy to me. You would talk to me everyday about anything and everything. I was heart broken when I left your highschool and had to move to a different highschool.

Then I seen you again eleven years later and I had butterflies once again. But you were engaged and happy with another woman and I was engaged to a man that you knew. I was so nervous that I told you to your face that I didn't rememeber you at all. I couldn't even look at you, because I knew that you could see right through me. The feeling that I had at that very moment was unexplanable, but it was as if the world stopped.

Thanksgiving 2011 you requested me on facebook. Yes good old facebook! I of course accepted your request right away. I rememeber like it was yesterday. I was curling my hair getting ready to go out and I inboxed you, to tell you how beautiful your daughter was. Then I told you that I was going to my friend's house and you should text me so I didn't burn myself while I was curling my hair. So not true. LOL! I just wanted to see if you would text me and you did. You even went to my friend's house, cause she was your friend too. It was getting late so we decided it was time to go home, but we ended up talking outside in the freezing cold till midnight. Call us crazy...probably

We had an unbelievable romance. We got matching tattoos to represent one another. We literally seen each other everyday since day one and when we weren't together we would talk to each other on the phone. After being together for just 6 months (June 2011) we hopped on a plane to Puerto Rico and had the best 5 days ever! It was crazy romantic! I got to wake up and throw my sexy white swimming suit on and lay out in the sun till you woke up. It was the most prefect relaxing vacation ever. I remember that we were swimming in the ocean and something bite my foot and I jumped up in your arms. Then you looked into my eyes and told me how much you loved me and wanted to know if I felt the same way for you. Naturally I said yes because I was so head over heels in love with you. Then you pulled a baggy out of your swimming trunks and gave me the prettiest promise ring ever and you said " I love you and I am telling you not promising you that you will be my wife one day and I will be your husband." Oh yea and that bite on my foot was me getting stung by a jellyfish. (Peeing on it doesn't work, that is a damn lie. LOL)

Now it is March 2014 and we have had a lot of ups and downs. Hell we have had one to many for my taste but we are human and so not perfect. We tend to bring out the worst of each other and we tend to bring the best out of each other. There has been fights, tears, breaks, but we always find our way back to each other. I hope and pray that we continue to overcome every little thing that comes between us, because you are my person. You are the man that I want to wake up to every morning, kiss every night, make love to every chance I get. You are my best-friend and I am so happy that I have you in my life.

Interview with a Master By Jason Luke

5 Stars (should be 10 stars)
It's the interview like no other.
It's the interview of a lifetime.
It's THE Interview with a Master.
When Jonah Noble reveals details of his life within the world of BDSM, the tale he tells is intensely erotic, profoundly sensual, and brutally honest.
This is His world. His way.
There is only one question the man will not answer…

(BDSM erotica from a man's POV, written by a man. Contains some explicit language)
My 5 star Review:
Jason Luke you are an incredible, amazing, creative, and all around perfect writer. I am still in shock that this is your first book! Congratulations on writing a 10 star book, yes I said 10 stars because 5 just won’t do! Your book took my breath away and I mean that. This book is unbelievably amazing. I was hooked from the first page and didn’t want to put this baby down. All of the characters in this story caught my attention. I know for a fact that I will definitely be re-reading this book again.

Jonah Noble where do I begin to describe this manly man. Jonah Noble where have you been all my life. I have a lot of book boyfriend and I do mean a lot, but you Jonah Noble is now officially my number 1! During his interview with Leticia Falls I was at the edge of my seat. (Literally) I was so in grossed with his lifestyle, hell I wouldn’t mind him teaching me a thing or two! I mean he is America’s elusive notorious BSDM master! Every woman that came into his life knew exactly what she was getting into. I loved how he told his story as if it was just yesterday and he spoke so well of them.

"Every woman who is aroused by submission is also aroused by an alpha male who can tame her. These women aren’t looking for a husband in the bedroom who will make them feel safe and loved. They already have that in their relationship. These women are looking for a man who is strong enough to conquer them. That way the woman can still feel vibrant and independent… but also feel comfortable submitting to their lover. That’s the turn-on for women. They don’t want to be submissives… they want to feel like they can’t resist submitting.”
―     Jason Luke, Interview with a Master

Leticia Fall I jealous of you girl. She is definitely a strong woman to set and do an interview with Jonah Noble. I can tell you now, I couldn’t do it. I would be all over that man in a heartbeat. (sorry Lee) She is passionate about her work and wants people to see the real Jonah Noble. He makes her feels things she has never felt before. She has very little experience in that department, so listening to him and all his stories is doing things to her. AND I don’t blame her. I like that she sees him for more than just his lifestyle. She is getting the real, raw and honest version of his lifestyle, not the sugar coated story.

“A Master without a submissive is a guy. Just a guy. He needs someone who wishes to submit to him, in order to become a Master.”
―     Jason Luke, Interview with a Master

My heart breaks for Jonah because he has never been in love and he so deserves to find his perfect woman. This book will have you feeling different emotions, if you know what I mean. I was very emotional reading this book. Let’s see I wanted to shake Leticia and slap Jonah a couple times. I even yelled out loud due to frustration…at work. Oops. What really got me was the very last part of this book. I cried like a damn baby. I wanted and want to take Jonah in my arms and hold him while showering him with kisses. Really I still do.

“It wasn’t about physical domination for me. It still isn’t. It’s about that emotional transfer of power: the command and control. That’s what turns me on, Leticia. That’s what I find so addictive about being a Master. I love the power, given to me by the submissive.”
―     Jason Luke, Interview with a Master

So Jason Luke thank you for creating this hot ass sexy man, who will most likely ruin every woman out there. Now this is my personal opinion....I think your character Jonah Noble just ruined for life. In a very good way!!! Again I am now officially addicted and obsessed with Jonah Noble. I want and need him in every way. YES crazy I know, but blame Jason Luke for writing this freaking crazy amazing book. While I was reading this book it was as if Jonah was pacing back forth telling me his story, that is how good Jason Luke's writing is!

Jason Luke
Jason Luke enjoyed several years involved in the BDSM lifestyle - but he is quick to point out that his experiences don't qualify him as an expert, any more than knowing how to drive a car makes him a qualified mechanic. 'Interview with a Master' is a novel about how one man became a Master. The book is a work of fiction, but Jason has drawn heavily on encounters from his own real life. He won't say which parts of the book are fictionalised, and which parts are auto-biographical.

Erotic BDSM fiction written by a man from a man's point of view.

Review for Hello LAlaland by Madi Merek

5 stars
Winifred Chapman isn’t thrilled with the idea of her ten year reunion; especially not the idea of returning to LAlaland. Even in the midst of her thrilling career, she’s managed to avoid LA as often as possible, which is saying a lot for a world-renowned fashion designer. She has a life which women everywhere would envy, and has everything she needs . . . or so she thinks.

Anthony Ricci was the most popular guy at Westlake High, and the one Winifred thought would never look twice at her. A former professional athlete, he now runs a successful Italian restaurant in New York City. When they run into each other at the reunion and give in to a widely passionate night, Anthony decides he may want more than Winifred is willing to give.

Hating being known by the men she’s dated or slept with, Winifred has learned to take what she needs from them without investing emotionally. When she discovers Anthony’s old desire for her and disappears after their night together, he refuses to give her up.

Will he be able to show her that love doesn’t have to be a battle, or will LAlaland prove to be enough to destroy her carefully constructed walls?

My review

Thank you Madi Merek for allowing me to read ARC. You are an awesome writer and this book freaking kicks ass. I am now officially in love with Tony and his sexy ass.
Again thank you so very much!!

I loved this book. I couldn't put this book down I had to finish it right away. The writing was amazing. The story line is brilliant, sexy, romantic, wonderful, and amazing. I loved all the characters.

Winifred is a strong, amazing, successful woman. She is head strong and knows exactly what she needs and doesn't need in her life. I admire this character very much. She will not let any man break her heart or come close to breaking her it.

Anthony is so...ummmm yummy! I could read about him all day long. He is strong, sexy, hot, manly, and successful too. He wears his heart on his sleeve for the woman that he loves. Tony is my new book boyfriend.

The history that the two of them have is crazy, sad, and makes me want to shake them both. Then I want to smile like a kid eating an ice cream cone for the first time. Yes this story is that damn good. I honestly could read this book over and over again.

I love how I got sucked into this story. I am so digging the ending of this book and I can't wait for book 2

Congrats on writing this freaking amazing story!!!! All I can say is that I am so glad that I got the chance to read this book and I am looking forward to reading so much more.

I’m a literary and historical fiction novelist—a genre buster, really. My debut will be in the world of erotica.

I’m a lover of vintage, a dreamer and creator, and I burn up the stipulations of this world.
Feminist.

My debut novella, Hello LAlaland, will be released April 1, 2014.
Madi Merek was born and raised a country girl in the beautiful city Denver, Colorado. She spent her summers in the mountains on her family’s ranch and cabin, where she learned to fish, ride horses, and ride an ATV.

Madi steered far from the country boys she grew up with when she married a sexy, city-boy rock god from Los Angeles in July 2008. He’s an executive at a music publishing house, and has introduced her to a whole new world of music and bands. Their beautiful daughter, Scarlett Shoshannah Rose, was born in November 2010, and is their miracle.

Though Madi has worked a full time job in banking for 7 years, her real career is writing, and her very first novel was finished at fourteen. Jon and Madi spent several years in Los Angeles before moving back to Denver, but they plan to return home to LAlaland soon. Madi can’t wait to live by the beach and away from the snow once again.

Interview with Edward Stanbridge

Edward Stanbridge

Author of Captive in the Storm

I have to say that I am so excited that I got to do an interview with the very talented Edward Stanbridge. I am a huge fan and every time I see that another part of Captive in the Storm is posted I literally stop what I am doing and go read it. Fine....I get emails when he post things. Yes I said it. But what can I say his writing is that damn good!!!

I just want to say thank you for doing this for my blog and me. ;)

It's a pleasure Cecily. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to meet your readers.

1. If you had 3 wishes what would they be?

Well, the first one - it’s worth trying since it remains a fantasy - would be for unlimited wishes so I don’t have to stop at 3. In fact, I’d be willing to trade all 3 wishes for this one *winks*. I would then wish for wisdom to use those wishes for the greater good. I don’t think I’d wish too many things for myself. I'm lucky to have wonderful people around me, a successful career, and an overall happy and comfortable life, so keeping it just the way it is would already be great. However, I may agree to grant other people’s wishes. Anything you want, Cecily?

Oh.. there are so many things that I would wish for, but I will keep those to myself. (such as a destination wedding)

2. If there was any place in the world you could go where would it be and why?

For the PG answer to that question, I’d say that since I'm passionate about history, I’d love to visit the parts of Europe I haven’t already visited, so Italy, Spain, Germany and Greece would definitely be on my list. However right now, I could really use a couple of months on a deserted island (okay, more like a 5-star private island with all the amenities, housekeeping and a chef!) where I could finish writing the book series I've been working on for the last year as well as enjoy the 18+ answer to that question...

3. If there were to be a movie based on your life, what actor would you choose to play you?

Christian Bale is one of my favorite actors and since he can play just about anything, I'm sure he could pull that one out. Robert De Niro could play the older me and manage to make me look far more interesting than what I really am.

4. Can you describe to me your perfect first date?

The best dates are often the improvised ones. I like spontaneity. I’m the type of guy who calls saying: "Hey, I just got that crazy idea, let’s do this." As much as I enjoy a 7-course dinner in a 5 diamonds restaurant, I think the best way to get to know what someone is made of is not only to talk, but to do something together. I’m a bit of an adrenaline junkie. I enjoy outdoor activities like mountain climbing, kayaking and snowboarding. Not everyone I date has to of course, but I like someone who is ready to try new things as much as I am.

Ladies....spontaneity! You got to love a man who flys by the seat of his pants. I hope men are reading this too.(you know who you are)

5. What is your favorite quote and why?

It's a classic, but I think the one I use the most often is "Whatever doesn’t kill you makes you stronger" by Friedrich Nietzsche. I’ve tested it many times. Remember how terrified you (at least for most people) were the first time you had to speak in public? But the more you do it, the less intimidating it becomes. Of course, we can't choose what happens to us, we can't control it. The only thing we have control over is the way we're gonna to react to it. Sometimes we need help and we're not sure that we're gonna make of it, but when we do, it’s with thicker skin and the knowledge that we can survive. That knowledge can never be taken away from us.

I love this quote! Well done!

6. What is more intimate kissing or sex? Sorry I have to ask the question, due to your book.

Hahaha! Don’t be sorry, it’s fine. Not to go into "Pretty woman" wisdom, but I think that kissing is somewhat more intimate. The way someone kisses tells a lot about the feeling that person has towards you… or the person she’s thinking about while kissing you. Well, the same is true for sex, but you usually try the kissing first and if not, there’s very little chance that you’re in it for the long run. Maybe it’s just me, but as much as I can have sex with someone I don’t feel the urge to kiss, it’s very unlikely that I could end up falling in love with that person. There’s just something missing.

Be still my beating heart.......OMG!!!!! I love Pretty Woman!

7. Will you be making Captive in the Storm a novel?

It is my goal. When I first started writing that story, it was supposed to end with part 4, but the response from readers has been so great that I decided to write more and came up with a scenario that will hopefully be good enough to make it a whole novel. However, I will continue to share it with the readers of my blog since I really enjoy having an immediate feedback from them at every release of a new part and I hope that, maybe, they will tell their friends about that story once it’s published.

8. In Captive in the Storm which character can you relate to more?

I would have to say that I have a lot in common with Christopher. As you already know, Ally and Christopher both share a passion for real estate and architecture, but Chris has a more hands on approach. I handled quite a few renovation projects myself (no castles, unfortunately) and it's something I enjoy very much.
Chris has a dominant personality, but doesn’t show his emotions very much, at least in the first parts. I have to say that it’s something I recognize myself into. I like to be in control, but not in a pathological way. I also like women who challenge me, like Ally does with him.
If you could describe yourself in one word, what would it be and why?
Rational. I know how boring it sounds, but I'm a scientist and I want everything, including people, to make sense. That often leads me to have "WTF" moments, especially with people who are more emotional!

9. What inspired you to write Captive in the Storm?

What became part 1 was in fact the first erotic romance scene I've ever written. It was meant for another project, but I changed the scope of it and I no longer needed those scenes. It was inspired by several of my passions (architecture, good food, kinky sex *winks*) with a hint of my personal life and several subjects I wanted to write about for some time.

As you may have noticed, Captive in the Storm has a bit of a Fifty Shades feel to it. It's not without purpose. It is, somehow, what I would have liked to read in that type of story. In the upcoming parts, the action will move to the city where new challenges await Ally and Chris, threatening their budding relationship, their family and their business, but don’t worry, the sexy moments won’t stop once we get out of the dungeon.

Well thank you Edward for giving us a sample of who you are. I enjoyed asking you these questions and I also enjoyed all your answers. I look forward to reading many more parts of Captive in the Storm.

Edward Stanbridge
I am lucky to have so many different passions in my life and be able to share them through literature. I want to explore the best as well as the worst there is in human nature by crafting stories that I wish will compell the reader to open his mind to a new perspective.

I often use clichés and taboos in my stories and try to work them from a new angle because I truly believe that nothing in this world is what it seems.

If only one of my stories can make you smile or cry, I will have accomplished much more than I ever wished for.

Beauty

Beauty

Beauty to me is what is on the inside, it isn't about what is on the outside.
Beauty doesn't care about your hair color, eyes color, breast size, pants size, shoe size, or how much your clothes cost.
You can be beautiful with the most amazing features on the outside but on the inside you can be a hugh bitch or asshole.
Woman aren't the only ones that are insecure about the way they look. There are a lot of men out there that feel the same way most women do. Men and Woman are more equal than we think.

Some woman think that to be beautiful you have to be a size 6, nice toned ass, size B breast, perfect hair, beautiful eyes, and a tiny toned stomach. Everyone has a different definition of beauty. But hey there are super model in fashion magazines that have those features and are stunning. But are they real? Do they look beautiful without make-up? Do they have flaws under all the airbrushing? Do they feel beautiful? Is vanity really that important? I would have to say Hell no!

I don't care if I am beautiful to you. I want you to remember me for me, not because you think I am beautiful. I want you to crave and want my sassy personality! I want you to fall in love with all of my, not just the way that I look on the outside.

Some men out there think that it is all about how much you bench press, and how their abs look without a shirt on. I believe that men have it way harder then we do! I am crazy for saying that ladies, maybe I am. But come on now and lets be real. All woman want the perfect man! What is the perfect man? Is he Christian Grey? Now don't get me wrong, I love reading romance and erotica books,
but that isn't real life.
I am sorry I will not trip over my own feet and full in love with this perfect man who is a millionaire. My perfect man is someone how spends more time making me laugh then making me cry. He looks at me as if I am the only woman in the world. He has to be funny, loving, giving, and all around amazing. I can care less about how his abs look, or how his hair looks, or what size he is packing.
At the end of the day, it doesn't matter how you look! We all have flaws and our flaws are beauty, why? Because that is what makes us unique in our own special way.

Soon they begin to feel more for each other than friends should do. But will love bring them together or destroy their friendship?

My Review:
Where do I start. Selena is so damn strong and brave! My heart broke for her, she lost so much within minutes. She had to become the parent at 19.

The fact that she deals with her mother and her brother putting all the blame on her, while she is taking care/supporting them.

Then you have Keenan. Keenan is a bad boy turned good in my opinion. With all the grief he holds in his heart, is why he continues to do so much good

Then Grace!!!!! I fell in love with Grace, I mean who wouldn't?!
She is the smartest sassy smartass :) and yes I mean that in a good way

I cried throughout this whole book so please have tissue available to use, cause your going to need it

Rose Bell you wrote such a beautiful and inspiring story right here. Everyone should look at Selena, Keenan, and Grace and hold them very high. Because I know there are a lot of them out in this world. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to read your book. 100% hands down perfect!!!!!

A must read book!

Review for Toxic By Rachel Van Dyken

5 Stars

#1 Best Seller in Sports Romance

Everyone has a secret...

Gabe Hyde is on borrowed time. He's been hiding his identity for over four years-hidden from the world that used to adore him--obsess over him--driven to the edge of insanity by one poor choice.
But that one choice, altered the course of his life forever.
Pretending isn't all it's cracked up to be, especially when pretending means hiding your real self from the people that care about you the most. But if anyone ever discovered the truth it wouldn't just be his life at risk--but hers.

Saylor doesn't hate men.
Just Gabe.
Only Gabe.
He's a reckless, happy-go-lucky, silver spoon fed pain in her ass. Everything about him makes her more and more confused. Unfortunately they both donate time at the same Group Home. If she wasn't afraid of flunking, she'd be long gone. She hates that she's attracted to him almost as much as he hates that he's attracted to her--and she can tell, especially since their first encounter ended up making her knees so weak she couldn't form coherent sentences for weeks afterwards. But the closer she gets to him, the more confused she becomes. He isn't who he says he is, and he's hiding something big.

What happen when two worlds collide? Two worlds that never should have met in the first place? Some secrets are too big to be hidden forever--the only question? Will his destroy everyone he loves? Or finally bring about the redemption he's been craving for the past four years?

Everyone has a secret...What's yours?

My Review

Gabe is so lost within himself. He is trying so hard to be someone he isn't and it is killing him. He is coming close to destroying his true self over what happened four years ago. He has so many secrets that it is eating him alive. Gabe is very loving and he will do anything for his friends. Kristen, Wes, and Lisa are his only true friends in this world. He will do anything and everything for them! Gabe is turning over a new leaf, due to almost losing his best-friend Wes. He is no longer sleeping with any and every girl who crosses his path. He drowns himself in women, so he can temporarily free his mind from his past and now he is done with that. His friends love him so much and they just want to help him with whatever it is that is going on inside him. He pushes them away, more and more. Well all but 1 person, who seems to see right through him! But boy oh boy she only knows a small piece of him.

Saylor is a very sweet young lady who is dedicated to be great at playing the piano so she can graduate and get a job to help support her mother and brother. Saylor is all about practicing and not having a social life at all. So she pretty much studies and practices. She is determined not to lose her scholarship, period. Then one day she hears the most beautiful heart-breaking song on the piano. She runs into Gabe aka her hot stranger. Gabe sees how his presents is affecting Saylor and goes straight in for the kill and kisses her. He has that way on woman but Saylor isn't just any woman. She will not be like the other women in his book, shall we say. Saylor helps save Gabe in more ways than one. He has affected her so very much, but her heart is bigger than that. I am sorry but that is all I can say, because I don't want to give it all away. No spoiling here! Wink. Wink.

I loved and adored Ruin. I mean who does like Wes's story. But my oh my Gabe is one hot, dark, loving, train wreck. This book had me thinking what the heck is going on. Rachel Van Dyken doesn't disappointment! I didn't see any of this coming, not one piece of it. It is crazy and your mouth will be hanging wide open, just as I did. It is crazy that this story comes full circle with characters. It is something amazing I can tell you that!

My heart breaks for Gabe in this story, so much grief that he holds in his heart and he is slowly killing his own heart. He is trapped in what happened four years ago and he is running out of time. I wanted to cry, hit something, yell, and so much more while reading this book. This book had me at the very first word, but then again I fell head over heels in love with Gabe in Ruin.

My favorite part of this book is...Here is a small teaser for you. (and again I can't stress this enough, this is my favorite part, yes I was all smiles when I read this part)

"From there, the conversation quickly fell to the Seahawks. "Russell Wilson." Eric sighed dreamily then pointed a fork in my direction. He's better than Tom Brady. My mom chose that moment to open the door. She was in her pink nurse scrubs and looked like she'd had a bit of a rough day. Eric, how dare you say something against my Patriot! She grinned and put her hands on her hips."

This book is a must read and you have to get your hands on this book like as soon as it comes out!!! So please read Ruin first! I promise you will not be disappointed what so ever when reading Gabe's story. Oh and don't forget about Fearless (Ruin Series 2.5) Coming out March 9th, 2014
